Callie's Story
Where It All Began
My relationship with kinesiology did not begin as a career choice — it began as a lifeline. What I discovered through my own healing journey was so profound that I knew I had to share it. This is the story of how I came to do the work I do, and why I believe in it so deeply.
The Journey
As an active child who always enjoyed food, it came as a shock when at 19 I began noticing my body responding differently to what I ate — particularly bread and milk. Bloating, acne and painful spots on my chest became a recurring struggle. I didn't know where to turn or who to consult. I visited the doctor for a rash that was growing progressively worse, especially during periods of stress. He prescribed antibiotics. I took them — and slept for almost two days. My body had completely shut down. I didn't take anymore and continued to struggle.
I desperately wanted to detox my body — to address the bloating, the hormonal imbalance and the digestive issues that had plagued me for years. A friend suggested I see a lady who practised blood microscopy. I was excited and thrilled at the prospect of finally seeing what was happening inside my body and speaking to someone who might understand. My blood told a clear story: mineral deficiencies, parasites, an acidic system, leaky gut, low iron — to name just a few. Trusting her completely, I followed her recommendations. My body rejected everything. My skin erupted into what I can only describe as a cheese grater. My face, neck, chest and back were covered in spots filled with puss. The pain was excruciating. My self-confidence, my self-esteem and the trust I had placed in that process were destroyed.
The spots kept coming for well over a year. I tried absolutely everything. The lady who had started me on this path could no longer help me. I fell into depression. Yet every single morning I woke up and still faced the world. That quiet determination — to keep going even when I felt broken — would prove to be the foundation of everything that followed.
One day at work, a colleague suggested I see a kinesiologist. At that point I was desperate — I just needed someone to truly tell me what was going on and help me. I booked the appointment. We had a long conversation. She performed muscle testing — something I had never heard of before, but I was open. She began with a food intolerance test, which revealed the foods that were triggering my symptoms. I eliminated them. Then she explained that I had leaky gut and Candida, which had created a hormonal imbalance and was causing major issues internally. Through consistent sessions and following her guidance, the results came. My body was rebalanced. We addressed the root causes — emotionally, nutritionally, energetically and vibrationally. I reached a state of overall excellent wellbeing and was very overjoyed.
I made a vow to always consult my kinesiologist before making significant decisions — especially anything affecting my body. When I became pregnant, I had kinesiology throughout, keeping me balanced and my body well nourished. The result was extraordinary: I was able to have my first child at home with no pain relief and very little support from midwives. My body was balanced, it knew exactly what to do — and it did it. I had a healthy little boy. A true kinesiology baby, I was grateful.
My personal experience with kinesiology was so life-changing that I went on to study my Foundation in Systematic Kinesiology, then progressed to qualify as a Metaphysical Kinesiologist. Today I do not make decisions — particularly around nutrition, structure, emotions, energetics or vibrationally — without self-testing or consulting my kinesiologist. It is truly a life-changing modality, and I am absolutely elated to be able to share it with my family, my friends and the wider community.
